| Wow, I got a hair-cut! I thought it was a good way for me to mark my transition from high school to college. It's extremely different. And very boy-ish, but I like it. I like it so much, that if I saw a boy with my hair-cut, then I'd definitely have a major crush on him. I still look like a girl though!
I have pictures, but I can't find the USB for my camera right now...I know, pictures are a xanga's best friend. I've let you down. But, I 'll post them once I find my USB!
| I've graduated. Whoa...now what? | | |
| I just talked to Artair, and he's coming to Ole Miss too. And he's in the honors college also.
This is so weird...Me, Claire, Lindsey, Josh, Zach, Artair, Andrew...we're all at Ole Miss, and I think we're all in the Honors college. It's like last summer, but this time, it's for real: college, freshman year.
I'm so excited and happy that I could cry.

I watched Memoirs of a Geisha last night. I love that movie! I'm not even sure why I love it so much. It has beautiful screenplay. And I like the plot. I read the book before I watched the movie and was delightfully surprised that they had cleaned it up I think it reminds me of something that went through my mind when I was deciding which college I would attend. Something that is very out of character for me. It was alarming that I actually thought of it. Quotes:
Every step I have taken has been to bring me closer to you.
At the temple, there is a poem called "Loss", carved into the stone. It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out. You cannot read "Loss"... Only feel it.
The heart dies a slow death, shedding each hope like leaves... Until one day there are none. No hopes. Nothing remains.
| Ahh...I'm feeling much better. The night following my horrible night, Jess and I went to see Benchwarmers. It was hilarious! If only they had taken out all the completely unnecessary swearing and crudeness, it would have been a wonderful mindless comedy! It was still extremely entertaining. I believe jess and I were the oldest ones in the theatre.
Then, Sunday night after our church fellowship, I came home and watched Dr. Doolittle (the old version). I used to watch it all the time when i was little. It was magnificent!! I loved it! After you watch it, it's like you just stepped off of a rainbow! The songs are great! It's perfect for me, b/c it's so strangely coincidental, but fantasy always has some part in what happens. I think it needs to become my "I need an upper" movie along with The Pink Panther Returns and The Emperor's New Groove.
And today, we won our first softball game! 15-14!! I was so nervous! Very tense, but it's over, and we won!
